At East Village Preschool we believe that children learn best in environments in which they feel safe, nurtured and confident. For over half a century, East Village Preschool has been providing quality, play-based preschool education, through purposeful play learning experiences. Teachers focus on meeting children where they are developmentally so that students feel comfortable exploring and learning within their school community. Through purposeful facilitation, children learn to care for their school community and self, as they grow and prepare for their next big educational adventure.

East Village Preschool has provided quality preschool education for 50 years under the name Eastminster Preschool. We’ve been under the umbrella of Eastminster Presbyterian Church in SE Grand Rapids and are moving to a new location less than one mile from our former location. We are a play-based preschool with caring, nurturing staff who can’t wait to welcome your children into our space.
